Allison Springer of Upperville, VA announced today that she will offer a limited number of Class A and B units in the Arthur syndicate of her established upper level horse Arthur. Springer spoke about her choice to syndicate the talented gelding currently owned by the Springer family for a fraction of the usual syndication costs, saying, "my dream is that people who have always wanted to become owners and join in the thrill of a world class horse's career will be able to do so at a price they can afford."
Units, which will be offered beginning at only $5,000 annually, 100% of which is tax deductible, are first come first serve, entitling contributors to experience eventing with one of the most successful horses on the circuit. Class B units are offered with no initial buy-in, something that has never before been offered in syndicated horses of this caliber. This, first of it's kind opportunity, entitles members to all the perks of being an owner for a yearly tax deductible $5,000 payment towards the Arthur Syndicate expenses.
Class A Units can also be purchased for just a one time payment of $15,000 (and the $5,000 annual expenses payment) for a 10% interest in the Arthur Syndicate, entitling contributors to distribution of any Arthur Syndicate winnings and profits, as well as all additional ownership perks.
Arthur, who was recently named to the 2012 Olympic Short list for the United States, is a 13-year-old Irish Sport Horse Gelding. With a decorated resume that includes: winning the U.S. Equestrian Championships at the Rolex Kentucky 4* event in 2012, the best-conditioned horse award, and a 2nd place overall finish. Arthur offers potential owners a chance to be involved with a proven, U.S. born horse.
